Lucille Zucchero for Village Clerk

  • Began her career with the Village of Addison in 1977 in the Engineering Division of Community Development
  • Currently serving as Village Clerk, a position she was elected to in 1989,
  • Registered Municipal Clerk in Illinois, has attained the status of Certified Master Municipal Clerk
  • Active member of the Municipal Clerks of DuPage and Illinois and International Institute of Municipal Clerks, she has served as District Director, Chairperson of Public Relations Committee and Legislative Committee
  • Attained a Governor’s appointment to the Illinois Institute and Academy Training Committee, Chairperson, providing education and professional training for Illinois Municipal Clerks.
  • Served on many local Boards and Commissions including: Elmhurst Memorial Hospital Board of Governors, Loyola Hospital Women’s Health Advisory Board, Kiwanis Club, Women’s Club of Addison, Village of Addison Sister Cities, United Way, and American Cancer Society.
  • Currently serves on the DuPage Mayors and Managers Transportation & Policy Committee and is Chairman of the Pace Citizens Advisory Board. Former Vice President and Chairman DuPage County Transportation Council.
  • Honored by the following organizations: “Woman of the Year,” 2003 – American Association of University Women; “Impresa Award,” 2008 – Joint Civic Committee of Italian Americans; “Citizens Award,” VFW; Municipal Clerks of DuPage Distinguished Clerk Award, Lutheran Children and Family Services “Person of the Year, and in 2009 received Elmhurst Memorial Hospital’s “Distinguished Service Award and has earned Honorary Lifelong Member status with the United Hellenic Voters of America.
  • Lucille and her husband Dominic have been residents of the Village of Addison since 1969 and they have four children, 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
